A 32-year-old woman has been charged following a stabbing incident in Smethwick that left a man hospitalized with injuries. The incident occurred on Thursday, September 5, when emergency services were called to South Road at approximately 4:15 PM. Upon arrival, police discovered a man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Following an investigation, authorities arrested Jessica Jury, who has no fixed address, on suspicion of attempted murder. Jury was officially charged on Friday in connection with the attack.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, remains in hospital. However, authorities have confirmed that his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Jury is scheduled to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Monday, September 9, when she will face formal charges.
West Midlands Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward to aid in the ongoing investigation.
