Investigating officers are seeking the assistance of witnesses as they launch an appeal following a recent burglary in Sheerness.
The incident occurred within a residence on Marine Parade, in close proximity to Oasis Academy, between the hours of 5:00 pm on December 28 and 10:50 pm on December 29, 2023.
During the burglary, a significant number of valuable items, including jewellery, a substantial amount of cash, and alcoholic beverages, were unlawfully taken from the premises. In addition to the stolen possessions, the victim’s silver Mercedes E220 was also reported missing.
Lead Investigating Officer, PC Hannah Cooper, stated, “Upon receiving the report, we initiated a series of inquiries, including house-to-house investigations and an extensive review of CCTV footage. We are urging anyone with information related to the burglary to come forward, regardless of how insignificant it may appear.
PC Cooper encourages individuals who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the specified timeframe or who may have seen the stolen vehicle being driven in the vicinity following the incident to share their information.
