Wiltshire Police are appealing for help from the public to identify the driver of a van believed to be a key witness to a serious road collision involving a motorcycle and a car on Okus Road, Swindon.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30pm on Monday, 10 June, near the junction with Curie Avenue.
What Happened?
The collision involved a KTM 125 motorcycle travelling from the direction of Bath Road, and a Nissan Qashqai turning right from Curie Avenue onto Okus Road.
The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, was seriously injured and remains in hospital receiving treatment for potentially life-changing injuries.
Van Driver Urged to Come Forward
Police are seeking the driver of a van seen immediately ahead of the Nissan Qashqai, which also turned right onto Okus Road shortly before the collision occurred.
The van has distinctive markings, though its registration number and branding are unclear from current images.
"We believe the driver of this van may have vital information that could help us understand the circumstances of this serious incident," said a Wiltshire Police spokesperson.
