A man has been rushed to a major trauma centre after being stabbed on High Road, Willesden, prompting the closure of a busy stretch of the road and the diversion of multiple London bus routes.
The incident unfolded shortly before midday, at 11:54am, when emergency services were called to reports of a stabbing on Willesden High Road, near Brondesbury Park.
The victim was found with a head injury and treated at the scene before being transported to hospital as a priority, according to the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
Ambulance Service Responds Rapidly
An LAS spokesperson said:
“We were called at 11.54am today (July 7) to reports of a stabbing on High Road, Willesden.
We sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.
We treated a man for a head injury and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
Road Closures and Bus Disruptions
The High Road remains shut around the Brondesbury Park area, with traffic heavily affected in all directions. Five London bus routes are on diversion:

- 302
- 460
