The engineering work is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 2, and Sunday, December 3, impacting specific routes and prompting the use of rail replacement buses.
No Trains via Denmark Hill (Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3)
Engineering work will occur between Brixton and Nunhead/Ravensbourne, resulting in the closure of some lines.
London Overground:
- No service will operate between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction/Battersea Park.
- Passengers are advised to use alternative London Overground routes.
- A rail replacement bus service (M) will run between Canada Water – Surrey Quays – Clapham Junction.
Southeastern:
- Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Victoria and Dartford will not run. Additional trains will operate between London Cannon Street and Dartford via Bexleyheath on Saturday. On Sunday, passengers should use trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath due to further engineering work.
- Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Gillingham (Saturday) / Dover Priory (Sunday) via Denmark Hill will run non-stop between London Victoria and Bromley South.
Ticket Acceptance:
- Passengers can use Thameslink services between Herne Hill and Beckenham Junction via Denmark Hill and Catford (except on Sunday due to industrial action).
- London Underground services between London Victoria, London Charing Cross, Embankment, London Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark, and London Waterloo.
- London Bus routes P12, 78, and 484 between Denmark Hill and Lewisham.
- London Bus routes P12 and 354 for Nunhead and Ravensbourne.
Thameslink:
- Thameslink services will be affected by industrial action all weekend.
- No trains will run on Sunday, December 3.
Buses Replace Trains Between Slade Green/Sidcup and Gravesend (Sunday, December 3)
Engineering work in the Dartford area will lead to the closure of all lines.
Southeastern:
- Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will be retimed.
- Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Victoria and Dartford will not run due to further engineering work. Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will be retimed.
- Sidcup Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend will not run. Trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will operate between London Cannon Street and Sidcup.
Accessible rail replacement buses will run between:
- Slade Green and Gravesend, calling at all stations.
- Sidcup and Dartford, calling at all stations.
Ticket Acceptance:
- Passengers can use Southeastern services between London and Slade Green, as well as Southeastern rail replacement buses between Slade Green and Gravesend via Dartford.
- Tickets will also be accepted on London Underground and Docklands Light Railway between London Bridge and Woolwich Arsenal, and on the Elizabeth line between Abbey Wood and Farringdon.
No Southeastern Service at London Charing Cross or Waterloo East (Sunday, December 3)
Engineering work between London Charing Cross and London Waterloo East/London Bridge will impact some lines.
Ticket Acceptance:
- Passengers can use London Underground services between London Victoria, London Charing Cross, Embankment, London Waterloo, Southwark, and London Bridge at no additional cost.
Buses Replace Trains Between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West (Sunday, December 3)
Engineering work between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West will lead to the closure of all lines.
Accessible rail replacement buses will run between:
- Ashford International and Canterbury West (non-stop).
- Ashford International and Canterbury West (calling at all stations).
- Canterbury West and Margate (calling at Thanet Parkway, Ramsgate, and Broadstairs).
- Canterbury West and Ramsgate (calling at all stations).
