Residents in North London are being urged to stay vigilant after reports of a woman allegedly stealing parcels from doorsteps in theĀ Tottenham N17 area.
The alert was raised on social media after a concerned resident claimed a woman was seen taking packages in broad daylight on Thackeray Avenue. The woman was reportedly pushing a buggy “full of stuff” and is believed to have taken multiple parcels from outside homes in the area.
āEveryone be aware!ā the resident warned. āThis lady is stealing packages and parcels! She was walking with a buggy full of stolen items. She took our packages today in Thackeray Avenue.
Weāve reported it to the police!ā
The incident has since been reported to local authorities, and residents are being advised to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity. It is not yet known whether the suspect has been identified or if any arrests have been made.
