A 32-year-old man has been injured in a stabbing in Wallasey, prompting an urgent appeal from Merseyside Police for anonymous public assistance to help identify the offender.
The incident occurred around 1:25am on Saturday, 17 May, near the Clairville Arms pub. The victim suffered stab wounds to his hand and ear during the attack. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

According to police, the man sought help at the Clairville Arms following an altercation nearby. Emergency services responded quickly, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
