A vile letter sent to the family home of missing Allan Bryant has shaken the community, claiming to know the gruesome location of his body parts. The anonymous note, penned by a sick troll, alleges that Allan’s head, “without eyes,” lies buried in an area in Fife, with his dismembered leg nearby. The chilling message continues: “This hunt will be fun. Your son is in bits.” For Allan’s distraught mother, Marie, reading the letter was gut-wrenching. “We have gone through enough,” she told the Daily Record.
The letter, postmarked April 23, arrived at a previous address where Marie Degan and her partner, Allan Bryant Snr, once lived. Marie revealed that the disturbing contents caused immense distress to her nephew’s partner, who now resides at the property, as well as the entire family. They promptly reported the letter to the police, but more than a month later, they are still awaiting a response from detectives investigating this suspicious item.
“We just want the police to get back to us,” Marie said. “Is there any truth to this, or is it just the work of an idiot?” The waiting game continues, and Marie expressed hope that DNA analysis or tracing the stamped letter’s origin will shed light on the sender. The family suspects the culprit may be local, based on the letter’s content.
Allan Bryant, 23, vanished without a trace after leaving Styx nightclub near his Glenrothes home on November 3, 2013.
This isn’t the first time the Bryant family has faced torment. A man previously taunted heartbroken relatives of Allan Bryant Jnr with Facebook messages during the years between 2014 and 2017 when he was incarcerated for other offences.
