Kent Police have launched a public appeal to help locate Maria Pilgrim, a 56-year-old woman who has been reported missing from Longfield.
Maria was last seen at around 2:10pm on Friday 18 April walking along Main Road, but was officially reported missing on Wednesday 23 April 2025. Her disappearance has prompted growing concern among officers and her family.
She is described as 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, with reddish hair. At the time she went missing, Maria was wearing a long dark grey coat, grey trousers, and white flip flops. She was also seen carrying a black shopping basket with two wheels and an extendable handle.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
“We are growing increasingly concerned for Maria’s welfare. We are urging anyone who may have seen her or knows of her whereabouts to contact us immediately.”
Residents in and around Longfield are being asked to check any CCTV or doorbell footage from the afternoon of 18 April, particularly around the Main Road area.
Anyone with information or sightings of Maria Pilgrim is urged to call 999 immediately, quoting reference 23-1432.
