Sussex Police have issued an urgent public appeal as concern grows for the welfare of 86-year-old Marion, who has been missing since Thursday afternoon.
Marion was last seen at approximately 4.30pm on 17 April 2025 in the Lottbridge Drove area of Eastbourne. Originally reported missing from Bexhill, her disappearance has prompted extreme concern due to her age and vulnerability.
She is described as 5ft 3in tall, of average build, with short grey hair. At the time of her disappearance, Marion was wearing a mint green top, black trousers, and slippers. She may also be carrying a dark handbag.
In a statement, police urged anyone who sees Marion not to approach her but to call 999 immediately, quoting serial 632 of 15/04.
The Missing Persons Team (MPT), who are supporting the search, stressed the importance of public awareness:
“We never give up on a missing person, and we urge everyone in the East Sussex area—especially around Bexhill and Eastbourne—to keep an eye out and check gardens, sheds, and outbuildings where someone vulnerable may seek shelter.”
Anyone with even the smallest piece of information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101.
Marion’s family and authorities are desperate for answers, and the community is being urged to share her image and details as widely as possible.
If you’ve seen Marion or know where she might be, please act now.
Call 999 with any immediate sightings.
