Kent Police are appealing for witnesses following a severe traffic accident in Broadstairs that left a young man critically injured. The collision, involving a red, white, and black Yamaha Fazer motorbike and a white Ford Fiesta, occurred at approximately 3:35 PM on Sackett’s Hill, at the junction with St Peter’s Road.
Emergency services, including officers from Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, responded promptly to the scene. The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to a London hospital where he is currently in a serious condition. Authorities have informed his next of kin.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is handling the investigation and is keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident. They are particularly interested in talking to individuals who were in the vicinity at the time of the collision and have not yet come forward.
In addition to witness testimonies, police are requesting that motorists who were in the area and have dashcam footage, as well as residents with private CCTV, review their recordings for any material that may assist the investigation.
