The Metropolitan Police have initiated an investigation into an unexplained death following a distressing incident in East London.
Authorities were alerted at 8:26 a.m. on Thursday, February 8th, 2024, to Pavilion Apartments, located on Stainsby Road, E14. Responding officers, alongside the London Ambulance Service (LAS), arrived at the scene to discover the lifeless body of a 21-year-old female in a residence.
Despite efforts to revive her, the young woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of her death remains undetermined and is currently the subject of a thorough investigation by law enforcement officials.
In connection with the incident, a 21-year-old female has been arrested and subsequently released on bail, pending further inquiries, after being taken into custody at an East London police station.
Authorities are appealing for witnesses who may have information regarding an incident on Dodd Street, E14, which occurred at approximately 11.30pm. While investigators are exploring potential links between the two events, they are maintaining an open-minded approach throughout their inquiry.
