Two 18-year-old men have been arrested after allegedly stabbing each other during a violent fight on a west London bus.
The Metropolitan Police were called just after midnight on Wednesday, May 21, to reports of a stabbing near the junction of Uxbridge Road and Harlington Road in Uxbridge.
Double Stabbing on Route 427 Bus
The two teenagers were reportedly involved in a physical altercation aboard a 427 bus, during which both sustained stab wounds.
While neither injury is life-threatening, one of the men’s injuries is believed to be life-changing, police confirmed.
Both individuals were arrested at the scene on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and taken to hospital for treatment.
Police Statement
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
“Police were called at 00:00hrs on Wednesday, 21 May following reports of a stabbing in Uxbridge.
Officers attended the scene at the Uxbridge Road and Harlington Road junction where two men had allegedly been in a fight on a bus.
Both men, aged 18, suffered stab wound injuries in the incident, with one considered to be life-changing.
Neither were life-threatening. They were both arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH. Enquiries are ongoing.”
Second Stabbing on Same Day Nearby
The incident follows a separate stabbing outside Brunel University later the same day at 5:45pm near Topping Lane and Kingston Lane. That case is being treated as isolated and remains under investigation.
