Two teenage girls have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man in his 40s was discovered with life-changing injuries in Luton early this morning.
Bedfordshire Police were called to Foxglove Way at around 4:30am on Monday, April 14, following an abandoned 999 call. Upon arrival, officers found the injured man lying outside the address and quickly arranged for him to be taken to hospital.
Victim in Hospital with Severe Injuries
The man, whose identity has not yet been released, is currently receiving treatment in hospital. Police say his injuries are believed to be potentially life-altering, though no further medical details have been disclosed.
Two 19-Year-Old Women in Custody
Two women, both aged 19, were arrested at the scene and are being held in police custody as detectives continue their investigation. The nature of the injuries and what may have led to the incident have not been made public at this time.

Detective Inspector Jon Wheeler, from Bedfordshire Police’s Emerald team, confirmed the ongoing nature of the inquiry and issued a public appeal for witnesses:
“Our officers arrived at the scene of this incident to find a man who has suffered life-changing injuries.
We are now working to establish the full circumstances.
Anyone who may have heard or seen something is urged to contact us immediately.”
