Two men have been charged in connection with a serious sexual assault and kidnap investigation in Greenhithe, Kent.
The incident occurred between 3am and 6.40am on Friday, 21 March 2025, when a woman was reportedly taken against her will to a property and subjected to rape and other offences.
Following extensive enquiries, Kent Police arrested two men on Thursday, 8 May, and both have now been formally charged.
Charged Individuals:
- Nana Boafo Ansah, 46, of Pearmain Close, Greenhithe, has been charged with:
- Kidnap
- Rape
- Assault by penetration
- Sharing an intimate image without consent
- Stephen Antwi, 45, of Dunkirk Drive, Chatham, has been charged with:
- Kidnap
- Rape
- Sharing an intimate image without consent
Both men were remanded in custody and are set to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Saturday, 10 May.
Police Appeal for Information
Detectives are continuing to investigate and are urging anyone with information who has not yet spoken to officers to come forward.
A Kent Police spokesperson said:
“We understand this is a distressing case and are working closely with the victim to provide support.
We urge anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or who has information that could assist our enquiries to contact us.”
