Emergency services rushed to the scene of a road traffic collision on Mile End Road near the junction with White Horse Lane, after two people were injured in a crash on Sunday 18 May 2025.
The incident occurred at around 5pm, prompting a major response from the London Ambulance Service, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car, an incident response officer, and London’s air ambulance.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called on Sunday 18 May at 5.02pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Mile End Road, E1.
We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.
We treated two patients at the scene before taking them to hospital.”
The conditions of both individuals remain unknown at this time.
The Metropolitan Police have been contacted for further details regarding the circumstances of the crash. No arrests have been reported.
The area around the crash site is a busy stretch of Mile End Road, often congested with traffic and pedestrians. It is not yet known whether any other vehicles or road users were involved.
