A man and a woman have tragically died after being found with serious injuries at a property in Holstein Way, Thamesmead.
Emergency services responded shortly before 3 pm on March 11 following concerns raised about the welfare of the occupants. Upon entry, both individuals were discovered seriously injured and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry, leading policing efforts in Bexley, addressed residents’ concerns, stating: “I know many residents in the local area will be questioning why police are carrying out enquiries within Holstein Way. We are currently investigating the death of two people, which was unexpected and unexplained.”
“At this early stage, we are working closely with officers and local authorities to establish the circumstances surrounding these deaths. We believe that the two individuals were known to each other and are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident at this time.”
