Two people miraculously walked away uninjured after a dramatic crash left one car flipped onto its side against a pub wall in Chadwell Heath.
Emergency services rushed to High Road, near the junction with Whalebone Lane South, at around 10.30pm on Thursday night (3 July) following reports of a serious road traffic collision involving two cars.
Shocking images from the scene show one vehicle on its side, resting precariously on the low boundary wall surrounding the Tollgate pub car park. The wall borders a small outdoor seating area used by pub customers. The car’s headlights remained on, illuminating the wreckage.
A second vehicle sustained significant front-end damage, with the engine visible through a crumpled bonnet.
