A man and a woman have appeared in court after being charged with the murder of 33-year-old Josh McKay, who was fatally stabbed in Waltham Forest.
Tenika Parker, 28, of Canterbury Road, Waltham Forest, and Daniel Cooper, 21, of Gosport Road, Waltham Forest, have both been charged with murder. Parker appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 3 October, while Cooper appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 4 October. Both have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 8 October.
Renai Belle, 29, of Edmonton, had already been charged with murder earlier in July. He appeared at the Old Bailey on 12 July.
A trial date has been scheduled for 28 April 2025 at the Old Bailey.
Police were called shortly before 3:00 pm on Saturday, 6 July, following reports of a man being stabbed on Lea Bridge Road, E10. Despite the efforts of emergency services, Josh McKay tragically died at the scene.
