Two people have been formally charged with murder following the heartbreaking death of a three-year-old girl in Hayes, West London.
Child Found Dead at Home
Emergency services rushed to a home on Pennine Way, Hayes, at 6:09pm on Sunday, 17 December 2023 after reports of a child found deceased.
The young victim was identified as Penelope Chandrie, aged just three.
Investigation Leads to Arrests and Charges
The case has been under close investigation since Penelope’s death. On Thursday, 25 September, police arrested two individuals linked to the tragic incident.
After consulting with the Crown Prosecution Service, Manpreet Jatana, 34, and Jaskiret Singh Uppal, 36, both residents of Pennine Way, Hayes, have been charged with murder.
They are due to appear at england/england/uxbridge/”>uxbridge/”>Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 26 September.
