Two individuals have been charged following an incident at Stonehenge in June, where an orange substance was reportedly thrown at the historic monument. The Crown Prosecution Service has authorized charges against Rajan Naidu, 73, of Gosford Street, Birmingham, and Niamh Lynch, 22, of Norfolk Road, Bedford.
The pair face charges of destroying or damaging an ancient protected monument and intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance. Both have been bailed and are scheduled to appear at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on December 13.
