Two men have been arrested following a road traffic collision and reported altercation in East London on Tuesday night.
Police were called to St Paul’s Way, E14, at 9:01pm on 25 March, after receiving reports of a disturbance involving individuals and a vehicle.
Officers attended the scene alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, who treated a man at the location before taking him to hospital. His injuries have since been confirmed as non-life threatening.
Following initial investigations, two men were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. They remain in custody while enquiries continue.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
"At 21:01hrs on Tuesday, 25 March, police were called to St Paul’s Way, E14, following reports of an altercation and a road traffic collision. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service.
One man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
Residents in the area reported seeing emergency services at the scene late into the evening, and police cordoned off part of the road during the investigation.
