Police searching for missing teenager Jacob Ker have confirmed that a body has been found, just hours after he was reported missing from a riverside town.

A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said:
“Officers searching for missing teenager Jacob Ker have sadly found the body of a boy.
While formal identification has yet to be completed, Jacob’s family have been informed. Our thoughts remain with them at this most difficult time.”
No further details about the circumstances have been released, but police say there are no suspicious circumstances at this stage.
