Traffic on the A20 Sidcup Bypass westbound is currently experiencing severe delays after a vehicle spun out and struck a barrier in challenging weather conditions.
The incident occurred near Swanley on the London-bound carriageway. According to initial reports, a grey BMW lost control due to sudden adverse weather conditions, skidded across both lanes, and collided with the safety barrier.
Metropolitan Police officers, alongside officials from Highways England, have responded to the scene.

One lane is currently closed between the M25 J3 (Swanley Interchange) and the A224 Sevenoaks Way (Crittall’s Corner, Sidcup), causing significant congestion and slow-moving traffic.
