Traffic has been brought to a complete standstill on the M25 anti-clockwise at Junction 2 near the A2 Darenth Interchange in Kent following a collision involving two vehicles.
National Highways: South-East confirmed the incident via social media shortly after it occurred, stating that the crash has resulted in debris being scattered across the carriageway.
Kent Police Roads Policing Unit is currently on scene managing the incident and assisting with traffic control.
Motorists in the area are being advised to avoid the route and seek alternative travel arrangements as delays are expected. No information has yet been released regarding any injuries.
