Little Girl Hospitalised After Terrifying Dog Attack
Police rushed to Rectory Fields in Ealing at around 1pm on September 24 after a dog allegedly attacked a three-year-old girl. Paramedics quickly took the child to hospital where she is being treated for severe leg injuries.
Dog Owner Vanishes Before Police Arrive
Officers believe the dog’s owner fled before they got there. So far, no arrests have been made as the investigation kicks off.
Police Plea for Witnesses to Step Forward
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Officers are investigating an alleged dog attack which occurred at around 12:50hrs on Wednesday, 24 September in Rectory Fields, Ealing. “A three-year-old girl was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where she received treatment for severe injuries to her leg. “It is believed the owner of the dog left the scene before police arrived. No arrests have been made at this stage. “Anyone who has information relating to the owner of the dog, or witnessed the incident, is asked to contact the Met via 101, quoting 01/8008839/25.”
