Police swooped on Romford last night after a 13-year-old boy was assaulted on england/south-Streetstreet/”>england/south-Streetstreet/”>South Street. The teenager suffered a facial injury and was rushed to hospital, but thankfully his wounds aren’t life-threatening or life-changing.
Two Teens and One Adult in Custody
Officers arrested three suspects linked to the attack: two 15-year-old boys and one 25-year-old man. All remain in police custody, held on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. So far, details about the third arrest remain under wraps.
Knife Recovered in Police Search
The following day, cops were seen cordoning off part of South Street, combing the area behind a drain. A Pocketpocket knife recovered by police.
Police Stress Incident Isolated, No Public Threat
“Three people have been arrested following an assault in Romford,” police said.
“Officers arrived shortly after 8.20pm on Thursday, 25 September, responding to reports of an assault on South Street. The 13-year-old victim was treated at the scene and taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening or life-changing.”
