Police are appealing for information following a knifepoint robbery at the Three Store in County Mall, Crawley, which took place at approximately 4.40pm on Monday, June 9.
What Happened?
Three men were involved in the robbery. Two entered the shop while the third remained outside, acting as a lookout. The suspects stole thousands of pounds worth of mobile phones and electronic devices, according to Sussex Police.
The incident has sparked a police investigation, with officers conducting CCTV reviews and community enquiries to identify those involved.
Suspect Descriptions
Police released the following descriptions:
- Suspect 1: Black jacket with red zip, grey tracksuit bottoms, carrying a rucksack
- Suspect 2: Black jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, black shoes, also carrying a rucksack
- Suspect 3 (outside the store): Black jacket over a light blue top, black tracksuit bottoms, grey shoes
All three suspects were wearing dark clothing and carrying rucksacks. No injuries were reported, but staff were left shaken by the ordeal.
Police Appeal for Footage and Witnesses
Investigators are appealing for any CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam footage from the area between 4:00pm and 5:00pm on the day of the incident. They urge anyone who was near County Mall or Northgate area at the time and saw anything suspicious to come forward.
