A 17-year-old has died after a crash in the Woodchurch estate in Merseyside. Spencer Crofts died following a collision between a scrambler bike and an electric bike on Saturday evening.
Incident Details
According to local police reports, the collision occurred at approximately 6:25 PM at the junction of Hoole Road and Grass Wood Road. Emergency services responded immediately, providing CPR and emergency aid to both Spencer and the 18-year-old rider of the Suron electric bike.
Despite extensive efforts by emergency responders, Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene. The other rider, aged 18, was transported to hospital in critical condition with multiple injuries.
Spencer’s family released a poignant tribute, describing him as “a loyalist, genuine lad, with the biggest heart” who was “always smiling and lived life to the full.” The statement reflects the profound grief of a family mourning the sudden loss of their son and brother.
