A 16-year-old boy has been hospitalized following a stabbing incident that occurred in Broadway, Bexleyheath, at approximately 6:20 pm on January 9.
Police officers and London Ambulance Service personnel rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the incident. Upon arrival, they discovered the injured teenager and promptly provided him with first aid.
The victim was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment, and at present, his condition remains unknown. Officers from the Met Police have already informed the boy’s family about the incident.
Metropolitan Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “Police were called at 18:21hrs on Tuesday, 9 January, to reports of a stabbing in Broadway Square, Bexleyheath.”
“Officers arrived at the scene within three minutes and provided first aid to a 16-year-old boy with a stab injury. His family has been informed.”
“The victim was taken to the hospital, where his condition is being assessed. An investigation is underway, and enquiries are ongoing. Any witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting CAD 5435/09Jan.”
