A 19-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Newburn, Newcastle upon Tyne, on Sunday, 13 April 2025. The single-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 9pm on Kingfisher Boulevard, near the junction with Goldcrest Way.
Emergency services responded swiftly and transported the young rider to hospital with serious injuries, but he was tragically pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Police Appeal and Investigation
Northumbria Police have launched a full investigation into the crash to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. No other vehicles were involved.
A spokesperson for the force confirmed that the rider’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
“We are committed to establishing the full circumstances of this tragic incident,” said the spokesperson. “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or seen the motorcycle in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.”
