A man has been arrested following a burglary at a Co-Op store in Sellindge, near Ashford, in the early hours of Monday morning.
Kent Police were called to the scene on Main Road at 12:52 a.m. after reports of a break-in at the store. Officers quickly responded, and after conducting enquiries at the scene, a man was arrested in the area on suspicion of burglary.
A holdall containing a large quantity of cigarettes, tobacco products, and alcohol was recovered by officers as part of the investigation.
The suspect remains in custody as further enquiries continue. Kent Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
