Two men have been charged with a string of burglary offences after police stopped a suspicious vehicle in Gravesend and recovered suspected stolen power tools and a generator.
The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, 7 May 2025, when patrol officers in Gravesham noticed a car driving erratically along Valley Drive. After signalling the vehicle to stop, it was followed to Windsor Road, where the occupants were detained.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a cache of power tools and a generator, believed to have been stolen. Detectives launched an investigation, linking the equipment to a series of burglaries in Shorne.
