Sun Cream Warning after Child left badly Burnt

Warning to anyone that buys Aldi sun cream. A six year-old girl has suffered serious burns following a day at the beach in Lee on the Solent despite being covered in high-factor sunscreen by her mother. The mum from Gosport in Hampshire used factor 50 sun cream purchased from Aldi on both her children last week and they caught the sun. The mum said” I thought that I had possibly not applied enough” Today the mum applied the same sun cream three times and look how burnt her daughter is. Speaking from her home in Gosport the mum released this picture as a warning to other parent. She said:”I have never had this problem before and I’ll be writing and complaining to Aldi about this” An Aldi spokesperson said: “We are sorry to hear about Ms Dexter-Hall’s experience. This product has undergone rigorous testing to receive an SPF rating of 50 and a Boots 5* UVA rating, which exceeds the levels of protection of comparable branded products. “We have asked Ms Dexter-Hall to return the product to her nearest store so that we can conduct an investigation and provide her with a full refund.”
