A tragic update has emerged from Suffolk as Anita Rose, a mother of six and grandmother to thirteen, has succumbed to her injuries following an attempted murder. The incident occurred on July 24, and Rose passed away on Sunday, July 28, at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where she had been in critical condition.
The attack took place early Wednesday morning when Rose, known for her morning walks, left her home around 5:00 AM with her springer spaniel, Bruce. She was later found unconscious by a passerby at approximately 6:25 AM on a secluded track near the sewage works and railway line off Rectory Lane in Brantham.
Emergency services were quickly alerted and responded to the scene where Rose was discovered. She was immediately transported to the hospital, but despite the best efforts of medical personnel, she did not recover from her injuries.
