A disturbing incident unfolded near Bickley train station in Bromley on Sunday, April 14, as a person was reportedly stabbed. According to a witness at the scene, the victim was chased off the train at Bickley station before fleeing to nearby Oldfield Road, just before 3 pm.
Upon arrival, emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended the scene. Police and paramedics swiftly responded to the area, where the victim was found with stab injuries. The severity of the wounds sustained by the victim is currently undisclosed.
In response to the incident, two men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). One of the individuals was also apprehended on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, while the second man faced additional charges of possession of class B drugs.
A police cordon has been established in the residential neighbourhood surrounding the scene of the incident. Despite the police presence and investigation, National Rail has reported no disruptions or delays to train services.
The investigation into the stabbing is being jointly conducted by the British Transport Police and the Metropolitan Police Service. Authorities urge anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
