A man in his twenties was rushed to the hospital following a stabbing incident in Woolwich, South East London. The attack occurred on Powis Street shortly before 6:40 PM today, July 26.
Responding to the emergency, officers from the Metropolitan Police and crews from the London Ambulance Service found the young man suffering from stab wounds. He was immediately taken to a local hospital where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing. Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson stated: “Police were called to Powis Street, SE18, at 18:37 hrs on Friday, 26 July to reports of a stabbing. A man in his 20s was found with stab wounds. He has been taken to hospital, his condition has been assessed as non-life-threatening. There have been no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.”
The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with their ongoing enquiries.
