Specialist Territorial Support Group (TSG) officers from the Met Police carried out a dramatic early morning raid at a property in Tadworth today, arriving in three riot carriers shortly before 5:30am.
Officers equipped with door breakers, “magic keys,” compressed door openers, and a ladder made a swift and forceful entry into the property in Dover Road Tadworth already hitting the headlines for an double ugly stabbing that is not connected to the raid.
Eyewitnesses described a rapid and coordinated operation as the officers breached the premises.
The reason behind the warrant has not yet been officially confirmed, but a police source has indicated the raid may be linked to the suspected supply of Class A drugs.
A full search of the property is currently underway, and it is understood that individuals inside the premises have been detained.
We have contacted the Metropolitan Police and Surrey Police for official comment and are awaiting confirmation. Further updates will follow as more details emerge.
