Detectives from Southend CID are appealing for witnesses and information as they continue to investigate a serious assault that took place in Southend last month.
The incident occurred at around 10:30pm on Saturday, 22 March 2025, in Southchurch Park. It was reported that a man in his 30s was attacked by a group of five men. As a result of the assault, the victim sustained injuries to his face, stomach, and legs.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have captured footage of the incident, to come forward. Officers believe that public assistance could be crucial to identifying those responsible.
