Six Arrested for False imprisonment and Assault in Portsmouth but Police say its a Minor Incident

As firstly previously reported by UK News in Pictures, a house in Fratton was sealed off by police for two days following an incident which officers initially described as ‘a minor assault’. Despite playing down the incident two police officers guarded the house on the corner of Shakespeare Road and St Mary’s Road as detectives and scene of crime officers carried out an extensive investigation. A second eyewitness describes seeing a man running from the property in his underpants before police descended on the address. Following the incident, which took place at teatime on 29th June two women were arrested. Police have now confirmed a further three arrests. • Two females, 35 and 38, both from Portsmouth, arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and grievous bodily harm with intent. • A 49-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, again both from Portsmouth, on suspicion of false imprisonment and attempt to cause grievous bodily harm. • A 36-year-old man, from Portsmouth, on suspicion of false imprisonment, grievous bodily harm with intent, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. https:///youtu.be/VjodCnBEKA4
