Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to a shed fire in St Margaret’s Bay, Dover, shortly after midnight on Sunday, 15 June 2025. Emergency services responded swiftly to reports of flames on Salisbury Road, deploying two fire engines to the scene.
What Happened?
The fire was first reported at 12.53am, prompting a response from fire crews based in Dover. Firefighters used main jet hoses to bring the blaze under control. The operation was concluded just over an hour later at 1.58am
There have been no injuries reported in connection with the incident.
Fire Service Statement
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed:
“Two fire engines attended a shed fire on Salisbury Road, St Margaret’s Bay. Crews used main jets to extinguish the flames. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.”
Investigation Ongoing
At this time, the cause of the fire remains unknown. Fire investigators are expected to examine the remains of the shed to determine whether the blaze was accidental or deliberate.
