A serious collision involving an overturned car and motorcycle has led to the closure of the M25 anti-clockwise exit slip road at Junction 30 in Essex. The incident, which occurred on the roundabout, has also prompted the closure of the southern quadrant of the roundabout.
As a result of these closures, access to the A13 westbound for M25 clockwise traffic is unavailable, as well as access for A13 westbound traffic to continue on the A13 westbound. Additionally, the anti-clockwise distributor road between Junction 31 and Junction 30 has been closed.
Emergency services are currently at the scene, and due to the severity of the incident, the closures are expected to remain in place throughout the night.
Efforts are underway to release traffic caught within the closure via rearward relief. Motorists are advised to await instructions and exercise patience during this time.
If this closure affects your planned route, it is recommended to allow extra journey time, consider re-routing, or delay your journey if possible.
