Detectives investigating a serious assault involving a knife have released images of four men in connection with the incident. The assault occurred around 4pm on Saturday, January 13, at Eastbrook railway station in Dinas Powys, where a 16-year-old boy was targeted.
According to reports, the victim was standing in the shelter when he was approached by a group of men. One of the assailants brandished a knife and attempted to repeatedly attack the young boy, while another member of the group threatened him. The perpetrators fled the scene following the assault.
The victim, aged 16, sustained injuries that required stitches as a result of the incident. Authorities are now seeking information from the public to aid in their investigation.
Detectives are specifically interested in speaking to the men captured in CCTV images, believing they may possess crucial information related to the case. The public is urged to come forward if they recognize any of the individuals or have information that could assist the British Transport Police’s investigation.
Three arrests have already been made in connection to the assault, but investigators are actively seeking further details to piece together the full picture of the incident.
