A security guard was knocked unconscious during a violent altercation at Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford, London, earlier today.
The incident occurred inside the busy shopping complex, leaving shocked shoppers scrambling for safety as tensions escalated. Witnesses reported that the security guard, identified only as Raja, was attacked while attempting to intervene in a dispute near one of the store entrances.
Emergency services were quickly called to the scene, and paramedics treated Raja for head injuries before transporting him to a nearby hospital. His condition is currently unknown, though sources say he was unconscious at the scene but later regained consciousness during treatment.
Witness Accounts
Shoppers described scenes of chaos as the altercation unfolded. “It happened so fast,” said one eyewitness. “The security guard was just doing his job trying to calm things down, and then suddenly he was on the ground. It was really frightening.”
