A coordinated police operation to combat the supply of crack cocaine and heroin in Medway has led to multiple arrests following the execution of search warrants at three properties.
On Thursday, 30 January 2025, officers conducted simultaneous searches at three separate addresses under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Seizures and Arrests
During the operation, police seized mobile phones, a quantity of cash, and herbal cannabis. Three suspects were taken into custody and later charged with drug-related offences.
The individuals charged include:
- Caleb Griffiths, 23, of Bridge Road, Gillingham
- Jacob Laws, 22, of Tennyson Avenue, Cliffe Woods
- Sam Gilbert, 18, of Bettescombe Road, Rainham
All three men face charges of being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine between 30 November 2024 and 30 January 2025.
Additionally, Jacob Laws has been charged with possession of cannabis and possessing criminal property, relating to the seized cash.
Court Proceedings
The suspects appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 31 January 2025, where they were remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court scheduled for Friday, 28 February 2025.

Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to disrupting drug networks and tackling the harm caused by illegal substances in the Medway area.
