Police are urgently appealing for information following the disappearance of 53-year-old Ricky Allen, who was last seen on Friday evening (18 July) in the Minnis Road area of Birchington.
Ricky, who uses a wheelchair, was reported missing at around 7.30pm. Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are asking the public for help to locate him as soon as possible.
Description
Ricky is described as:
- White
- Approximately 5ft 7in tall
- Of medium build
- Wearing a black Nike t-shirt
- A white golfing cap
- White Nike trainers
He was last seen in his wheelchair near Minnis Road, a popular coastal area in the Thanet district.
Public Appeal
Kent Police are asking anyone who sees Ricky or knows where he might be to come forward immediately.
“If you have critical information regarding the whereabouts of Ricky, please call 999, quoting reference 18-2039,” a police spokesperson said.

Local residents and visitors to the area are being encouraged to check dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from Friday evening, particularly in and around Minnis Bay, Birchington High Street, and the surrounding neighbourhoods.
