Sweden has temporarily halted development aid to Palestinian territories, with the government tasking the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) to review aid to Palestinians and provide a report by early December. This move comes as European Union foreign ministers convene to address divisions among member states regarding the continuation of aid payments to Palestinians, following the European Commission’s initial announcement to suspend all such aid.
In a concerning development, Hezbollah, a Lebanese political and military organization, targeted an Israeli tank with a guided missile, according to security sources in Lebanon. In response, the Israeli army struck an observation post belonging to Hezbollah after rocket fire from Lebanese territory towards a military vehicle in the Avivim area.
