Police are currently on the scene at Stansgate Road in Dagenham following reports of a stabbing incident in a local barber shop.
Officers were called to a fight in the street. Upon arrival, they found two male victims. One victim had sustained a stab wound to the back of the head and was promptly taken to an East London hospital. The second victim suffered only minor injuries.
A crime scene has been established, and no arrests have been made so far.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated: “At this stage, there is nothing to suggest a wider risk to the public.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. The investigation is ongoing as police work to understand the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
