A Medway sex offender has been locked up again after cops found a secret phone loaded with Moremore than 600 cartoon images depicting child abuse.
Wenham Flouted Court Orders Days After Release
Stuart Wenham, 47, was freed in March 2025 but ignored strict Sexual Harm Prevention Orders. He accessed vile images, including abuse of a baby under one year old, just Weeksweeks after his parole.
Wenham was originally jailed in 2023 for making indecent images of children. Upon release, he was subject to tight reporting rules about his device use, meant to stop him reoffending.
Secret Phone and Laptop Reveal Shocking Breaches
Police grew suspicious Wenham was hiding a second phone. Arrested on June 6, officers seized the unregistered device filled with “pseudo-cartoon” images linked to child abuse. He’d also been illegally using a VPN and lied about the phone’s existence during previous checks.
Examination of a hidden laptop showed Wenham used forbidden cloud storage and wiped his internet history to cover his tracks.
Judge Slams Wenham as ‘Dangerous Man’ – Gets Four Years
At england/england/england/maidstone/”>maidstone/”>maidstone/”>Maidstone Crown Court, Wenham admitted breaking his sexual harm prevention order multiple times and possessing prohibited images. When grilled by police, he bizarrely claimed the images weren’t real and that the children appeared “happy.”
Described by the judge as “a dangerous man” with a long record of sick offences, Wenham was sentenced to four years behind bars.
