Police who were searching for a missing 24-year-old man from Croydon have found a body. Officers were appealing for the public’s help to find William Brown, who was last seen in Park Lane, W1 at 9.50am on Saturday, 2 June. A body was found in woodlands in Surrey on the evening of Monday, 4 June. While formal identification has not yet taken place, officers are satisfied that the deceased is William Brown. His next-of-kin have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the Coroner. Police would thank the public for their assistance.
